There was a friend of mine who was delighted two months back to get a dream job in a big corporate house. However, when I met her 2days ago I found how her dream turned to be a nightmare now! Natasha, was appointed as an execute in this MNC but the work load, constant pressure to perform and bossy environment have turned down to pathetically that she is ready to take up a job of a primary school teacher rather than staying in the corporate world anymore.
This reveals the demotivating condition in which today’s men survives. Working place is no more an exciting place to carry on your work, or to fulfill your dreams or to look forward everyday. That’s because the competitions are high and time is less. And too many people are running to be at the summit! You want it or not you too are inevitably drawn to this rat race. • Motivation to do well and learn more also comes from proper training, elaborate induction, orientation, monthly performance and many new rules that cater to healthy office environment taken up my office management. However, actual impression comes from its people. If the office management, seniors and colleagues seem to be motivated and united together as a team to perform all kinds of tasks, it transmits a positive vibrations to all the people present there.
• However, the key to build a motivating atmosphere is to think positive. A positive thinking, attitude and body language are essentials to drive you towards your goal. Your motivational skills should inspire you to acknowledge your strengths and work upon your errors. Its all the more important for a team leader to think positively because its often seen that the success of the T/L lies in uplifting his team from a degrading condition to the highest level. And positive thinking can even win a lost battle.
