The most common sexual dysfunction in men younger than 40 years is premature ejaculation (PE). Premature ejaculation is mostly defined as a condition when the occurence of ejaculation is prior to the wishes of both sexual partners. This refers to ejaculation that occurs before or soon after penetration. If the premature ejaculation is occasional then it might not be cause for concern, but, if the problem occurs with more than fifty percent of attempted sexual relations, a dysfunctional pattern usually exists for which treatment may be appropriate.

Premature ejaculation is classified as primary or secondary. Primary applies to individuals who have had the condition since they became capable of functioning sexually. Secondary condition is when an individual who previously experienced an acceptable level of ejaculatory control begins to experience premature ejaculation later in life.

Lack of attraction for a partner, past traumatic events and psychological factors, including a strict religious background that causes the person to view sex as sinful can also be the cause of premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is the most common form of sexual dysfunction in men. It is often caused is due to nervousness over how well he will perform during sex. Certain drugs, including some anti-depressants, may affect ejaculation, as can nerve damage to the spinal cord or back. If a man has diseases like diabetes or any other health problem then he is likely to experience premature ejaculation. There are other reasons too for this type of sexual dysfunction such as smoking cigarette and heavy drinking. Stress and injury also cause premature ejaculation.

Sexual dysfunction in men could be as follows.
• Failure to maintain erection for complete sex satisfaction. Earlier it was known as impotence but it is no longer used.
• Premature ejaculation is another sexual disorder prevalent among men.
• They experience is dry orgasm
• Loss of desire for sex.
• Pain in the penis or testicles during sex.

Sexual dysfunction in men is failure to maintain erection for complete sex satisfaction. To solve the problems men should read about men’s sexual system, that is anatomy, disease, medicines and treatment. Some problems are solved easily others require the help of a doctor.
